20 months! How is that possible?

Boy what a difference a year makes!!
8 months to 20 months!

Showing off her stride in her big girl pants! She loves to celebrate her success
and wear her big girl pants!

She packed her back pack to go to the park!

It became a lot harder to take pictures this month!

She just kept moving too fast!

That's a lot of hair!

It may be time for her first hair cut. Excuse me while I go cry!

Brushing our teeth!

A little morning milk while waiting to open our packages from Mema!

Our new outfit from Grandma Ortiz!

Julia picked her own outfit!

The birdy hat from Mema and a potato. Grandma Ortiz calls her a "sweet potato"
and then Julia goes and finds the potato to walk around with.

Laundry day! Julia likes to play peekabo insider her empty laundry bin!

It's pool weather in Miami! Yay!

The Sssssssllllloow clap

Forgive my sore throat and lack of singing talent! Here is Julia
singing "You Are My Sunshine"

"Puff the Magic Dragon"

Playing in the wrap swing with Daddy and Minnie!

Hello March!

Getting ready for our first swim of the year!

Ta-daaaa

I guess last year's swim hat is WAY too small.

What's on Julia's head you ask? A hat of course!
She was playing with all her wonderful stickers that Mema has sent. John was helping her and me at the same time. Needless to say I found a few lost stickers here and then. After diner, about 2 hours later; I went to take her out of her high chair and found this!! Well, at least the girl knows how to put a hat on!

Going shopping on a windy day! Beautiful outfit from Uncle Dave & Aunt Christy.

At the first fair of the month. Daddy won Julia a large alligator. His name is CHOMP!

John rode the bumper cars with Doni.

Julia and Daddy dancing to the music

Spinning!

The ferris wheel

Julia's first carnival ride.

We had a great time!

John and Chomp were ride buddies

View from the top. Our apartment is over to the right...

All smiles

Julia and Val both won balls!

Julia is loving this big ball. She kicks it and throws it up and down the hallway.

Look at those cheesy smiles!

The end of February...

Well, tonight I am going to keep it short and sweet with pictures and video overloads! Julia brought home a runny nose (probably from the gym daycare) and it bothered her for about a week. Of course I pick up everything so I've been dealing with it for 2 weeks now. Running on fumes by the end of the day - but making it though. Julia is so fun and active now she's been keeping us very busy. Her vocabulary is off the charts and people think she's 3 or 4 years old when they meet her. She still says "hi" and "bye" to everyone we see. She's been dancing in the aisles at church while the praise band plays before the service. She points out all the airplanes she sees and says "hi" and "bye" to them too. That makes her Daddy very happy.

She wore this headband for about 5 hours....before breaking it.

The new hair ties from Mema that Papa brought. She liked shaking her head from side
to side to hear the clicking.

My good girl using her own re-usable shopping bag.

Her first braid

One of my favorite photos from Papa's visit.

Using a wrap for a hammock. This was a rainy day and we couldn't go the the playground.
She kept asking to swing, so we improvised.

Julia and Daddy off for a walk to Story Time at the library.
Maybe I like this small town kinda thing.

Julia's new sunglasses - Baby Banz

One the way to church on a really cold Florida morning!!

John was rolling his eyes at me! I made him carry the baby
AND the diapers into the house.

Julia played all by herself for about 30 minutes and made a couple
of nice towers all by herself.

Going for a ride. Dagny is not amused by this.
Especially when Julia says, "Giddy up!"

Look at my teenager talking on the phone!!?!?

Going for a long walk with Daddy and Dagny. They walked for almost 5 miles this day!

One of my all time favorites. This is "...If you're happy and you know it,
then your face will surely show it...."

My coloring princess. She could spend all day coloring

Playing with her balloon hat and her balloon doggie.

She puts the Little People on the potty now and says, "Yay! Pee pee, poo poo. Yay!". Then she claps for them and pushes the button to make the toilet flush.

Still loving shoes and getting very good at putting them on all by herself.

Loving snack time. She enjoys getting to hold her own apple.

She put her feet up, put her cup on the chair for easy reach, ate her apple and
watched Mickey Mouse while I got some work done.
