Merry Christmas

What a Merry Christmas we had in sunny Miami. We missed you all so much but we have a peaceful and enjoyable day. We spent Christmas Eve at church and with our friends at a shrimp boil. We enjoyed wonderful King Crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, lobster, and craw daddies. Christmas morning we were up early to open all our amazing presents before heading back to church. We are so thankful for all of our amazing gifts.

Julia's new tutu from Mema Low. It is tutu cute! haha

Aren't boxes always the best? She played inside it first for about a week
and when she graduated  to climbing on top it went out to the trash!

Merry Christmas Dagny!!

So, so happy. Thanks Mema & Papa.

Trying it all out!

Taking it to the street!

We had to say goodbye to Jingle the elf. We had a lot of fun
with him this year. He left Julia a nice note and a box of elf donuts!

After the kid friendly Christmas Eve service. Glow sticks
instead of candles.

Children's Museum

We had another great opportunity to spend a fun day at the Miami Children's Museum. A wonderful mommy friend gave me three free passes. So Julia and I will get to go again with a friend and her daughter with the 4 pack of tickets I won playing a trivia game on their Facebook page! We had a great day at the museum and it was pretty empty since it was the Holiday Break.

Cruise ships in the port on the drive to the museum.
Interestingly, the Ortiz family has been on the Carnival one pictured here.

Julia at the front entrance!

John's Boy Scout training came in handy at the new Pirate exhibit!
We had to tie the knots in order to get a stamp on our map. We had to
collect all the stamps to find the treasure and win a prize!

Julia being turned into a pirate!

John the pirate!

Julia working on her sea legs. This pathway had an airbag under
it so it shook and wobbled when you walked across it.

Julia at the helm! Beware the Pirate Low!

Mommy's masterpiece. Mommy walked up to this and unscrambled
in less than a minute. An employee walked by to say it was really hard and
when he turned back around, she was already done!

Julia walking the rope bridge. It was a bit shaky...

But she was able to catch herself and make it all the way across.

John is always getting in trouble.

Pirates Low hoisting the Jolly Roger!

We entered the code and found the buried treasure!

Julia in the vet clinic. She found some new friends.

John in the dog house......

"Mommy, can we keep them all?"

She didn't like the stuffed bird and wanted Daddy to move to the other side.

Julia driving the fire truck. She rescued a car that had flipped over!

Shopping at Public.

Working at Publix. The vest looks pretty cute on her.

We sat through a drumming class. Julia LOVED it! I think we will need
to go again when this man is teaching.

Julia decorating a gingerbread house!

Her completed work!

She loved glue-ing foam letters on the paper too.

Our prize from the treasure hunt! An "authentic" eye patch!

Julia and Daddy with the really big tree!

Good bye ship! Have a safe journey.
