Turkey Day 2.0

Turkey Day 2.0 gets it's own post because the girly was just too cute on this day. I think Thanksgiving dinner has been her favorite meal so far!

Dancing and eating - must mean it's good, right?

Thanks for the cute bib Mema Low!

Trying some of Daddy's favorite part of the meal - cranberry sauce!
Using her fork to grab all the yummy stuff!

Outdoor FUN!

The weather has finally cooled (to a chilly 78 or so) here in South Florida! We are enjoying getting to spend more time outside playing and having fun. We've been going almost daily to the new play place across the street. Julia is so brave and loves to go down the big slides, through the tunnels, and tries to climb everything! She's been meeting lots of new little friends at the park. Here's some photos from sunny Florida!
Julia, Daddy, and Dagny out for a walk!

Playing with one of the marble mazes. She loves to turn the
wheel and make the marbles fall!

The marbles got stuck. Mommy helped (after taking a picture)!

Climbing through the tunnel. See video below.

Again...

When did she get so big and grown up?

She loves this wobbly bench and asks other kids to sit "down" with her.

Balancing act

Playing with Daddy's hat

Continuing our walk!

Who needs a stinkin' stroller? Not Julia!

She was fascinated by the number on the ground. She kept pointing
and saying "choo".

More play outside means we need more fun inside! She's always loved baths -
but we've been expanding our bathtime fun lately!

Homemade bathtub paints!!

Glow stick drumming. Just turn off the lights and throw in some glow sticks.

Color me Pretty!

Let the Marathon Blogging Begin

This month has been so so full and busy. I can't believe we are so far behind in posting pictures of all our exciting and fun activities. The first exciting thing was a visit from Grandma & Pepa Ortiz! We had a wonderful time with them and celebrating Thanksgiving. Love you both. Thanks for coming and hanging out.
Pepa was so excited to spend time with his granddaughter.

Julia reading her book in her very own chair.

Kathy cooking Thanksgiving dinner #1

Grandma & John waiting to pray for dinner and sharing their Thankful lists.

Pepa says, "Let's Eat!"

Julia's first bite of Thanksgiving Turkey!!

Julia loved playing with Pepa. She wouldn't even let him nap!

Playing dollies with Pepa.

Banana pancakes before Grandma & Pepa left.

One last goodbye photo.

"Julia, tell Grandma bye-bye"
"No Grandma, no bye-bye"

"Can Grandma stay here?"

Julia's new bed!!

The best thing about a new bed - jumping on it!

Loving her new soft blanket!

20 minutes later - Goodnight baby girl!

The Birds

So, I owe you all a few blogs. But - since many of you have snow today. I thought I should let you know that your birds have arrived South and are fine. Now there is extra white stuff falling from the sky here too.

Yup, all the black dots in the sky and sitting on the edge of the overpass are all birds.

Lining the Howard Johnson.

Closer view of the lineup.

I hated this movie and hate it in real life!

My skin is crawling! Too many birds. Please take them back soon.

Super Sneak Peak

These are just a few of the pictures we really enjoy. The best of the best is to come later. We were working on our Christmas cards.

Julia and Mommy.

Julia and Daddy. Check out those dimples!

Just one day before she had a temp of 103. She is such a good kid and so amazing. God has surely blessed us.

The photographer lady was just too funny! She had Julia cracking up the whole time.

Another goofy laugh and grin!

She was laughing so hard that there were tears!

A huge smile!

So precious. It helped that they photographer had some ornaments/balls on hand.

I love the inspection. This is when she first was handed the ornaments.

Merry Christmas!

"What? I didn't do anything. I was not hitting the backdrop at all!"

Our beautiful little trooper. She did such a great job that we went and took a carousel ride after this. Then she rode in an airplane AND a cop car. We were so proud and happy of how she did; it's a good thing she's too young to ask for her own car - we probably would have said sure!
